Kristen
Alderson began playing the role of Starr Manning 0n One
Life To Live in March 1998.
Some
of Kristen's earliest memories are of her acting out Walt
Disney Movies with her Dad at their home in Pennsylvania.
Beauty and The Beast, Aladdin, She also remembers as a small
child sitting with her Mom and watching a show about the
making of Annie and her Mom talking about how hard it looked
for the kids, and Kristen telling her Mom that was what
she wanted to do...But it wasn't until the age of 4 when
Kristen's local dance class in Pennsylvania was picked to
be a part of a local TV show there, Al Albert, that Kristen
officially got into acting. Al Albert was a local talent
show and Kristen and her class where a part of the show
once. She was then chosen to be part of the show each week.
An agent saw Kristen on the show, and wanted her to go on
an audition for the Broadway show Annie. Kristen
then talked her Mom into taking her to the audition. Kristen
ended up landing the role of Molly. Kristen played the role
of Molly through their run on Broadway and then went with
the show on tour. Kristen stayed with the play for about
1 year.
Two
weeks after coming home, Kristen was 6, she auditioned for
the role of Starr on One Life To Live. The producers recognized
her as Molly from Annie and she landed the role. Kristen
